Home is Where You Park It

1998

(aluminum, marqee lightbulbs, electronic controller, 14'10" x 8')

Created in collaboration with Lisa Cheung, this large hanging piece of sculpture that has 146 randomly-flashing lightbulbs set into a welded aluminum frame. This piece fills the gallery with its flashing lights and transforms it into a carnival-like disco. Mirroring an actual trailer, this piece is both an object and a space.
