This image was taken inside the glorious Beinecke Library at Yale University. I had wanted to visit it ever since I heard that Yale had a library with marble walls that you could see the sunlight through. My first visit was late in the day so I didn't get the full effect. When I went back the following day the winter sun was bright, low and glowing through the walls . I placed my hand on a table to give the image a sense of depth and scale.
